If there’s a thing or two we know about weddings - and as seasoned guests of nuptials grand, infamous, intimate and downright incredible, we really have seen it all - it’s that a comfortable bride makes for a truly happy bride. And while there’s a place for shape-defining and restrictive underpinnings, there’s nothing quite like the feeling of stretch silk underwear to make you feel your absolute best.

Underwear as outerwear is far from a new concept. In fact, we’ve been championing it for years with our wear-anywhere silk chemises and camisoles. But this season it seems our favourite designers are in agreement that it’s the look du jour, sending models down the catwalks in countless looks that celebrated lingerie in all its forms. Rejoice!

It may have been easy, pre-2020, to take travel for granted. At a moment’s notice we were able to jet off to sunnier climes when the great British weather didn’t suit us, or plan far-flung adventures with no concerns other than what to pack. So when that all disappeared, boy did we miss it! Needless to say we’re never taking travel for granted again, and planning adventures again feels all shiny and new. Perhaps we’re entering a new golden age of travel? If so, we’re allowing ourselves to feel a little glamorous and decadent while globetrotting once again.
